GDI Meter

The GDI Meter (Part # 09377100) is also used on the Ariens Mammoth 850. The meter will record hours whenever the engine is running with the operator in the seat. It will also show the fuel level based on a resistance reading from the fuel sender. The meter has five insulated terminals that plug into underside and is located on the left control panel.

Fuel Valve and Magnetic Switch

The Fuel Valve Switch (Part # 09389900), will allow the operator to manually select which fuel tank to pull fuel from during operation. It connects the right and left fuel tanks to engine and has a simple ball valve internally for selection. The movable arm has a magnetic handle that operates with the Magnetic Switch.

The Magnetic Switch (Part # 09197300) uses a magnetic pick-up to allow power to reach the Fuel Relay and send an input to the right or left fuel sensor. In order for the switch to operate, the magnet must be within 3/16" from the valve selector magnet. The switch is also adjustable up and down.

Fuel Sensor

Both left and right fuel sensors (Part # 09361600) are located at the front of each gas tank. Each sensor will take a resistance reading based on the float level/gas level. The resistance measurement reports the gas level on the GDI meter.

The resistance value from the fuel sensor will range from 32 – 301 ohms, and is measured by 10 increments on the fuel gauge for each resistance level. The fuel sensor connect to the Pro-Turn 600 wire harness by a 2-pin Deutsch connector.

EFI Adaptor Harness (Centered Over 16-Pin Connector)

The Pro-Turn 600 EFI Zero-Turns use an adaptor harness that connects the Kawasaki EFI engine harness to the Zero-Turn’s wire harness. It consists of a 16-pin plug connected to the Kawasaki Engine, a 6-pin plug that connects to the Zero-Turn engine connector plug, an Oil Pressure Light, MIL Light, and 3-pin throttle control.

Ogura GT3.5 PTO Clutch

The Ogura GT3.5 PTO Clutch (Part # 09153900) is equipped with a rotor, armature, and field coil to allow for Power-Take-Off and engage the mower deck. The GT3.5 clutch is adjustable to allow for a technician to open or close the air gap between the armature and rotor.

Resistance at the field coil should be 2.12 ~ 2.88 Ohms. Use a feeler gauge to measure the air gap during adjustment. The gap should be 0.012" ~ 0.024". Do not over tighten the nuts as this may force the rotor and armature into contact.
