Hydrostatic Drive Bypass
Bypass the transaxles to move the unit with the engine off.
Step 1
- Place the unit in service position.
- Park unit on a flat, level surface.
- Engage parking brake.
- Stop engine, remove key and wait for moving parts to stop and for hot parts to cool.
- Chock wheels. Strap and clamp unit onto lift, if used.
Steps 2 - 3
- Lower deck to lowest cutting height.
- Turn both transaxle bypass valves clockwise to the bypass position.
Step 4
- Release parking brake and push unit to desired position.
Step 6
- Turn both transaxles bypass valves counterclockwise to operating position.
