The Ogura GT2.75 PTO Clutch (Part # 09653700) is standard on all PT-300's (Except the 72" FX921).
It has a standard armature, rotor, and field coil. The armature engages rotor when PTO Switch is engaged,
closing air gap. This clutch has reversible brake plates that can be flipped when worn. Non-adjustable air gap.
Ogura Electromagnetic Clutch Troubleshooting
The Ogura GT3.5 PTO Clutch (Part # 09153900) is equipped with a rotor, armature, and field coil to allow for Power-Take-Off
and engage the mower deck. The GT3.5 clutch is adjustable to allow for a technician to open or close the air gap
between the armature and rotor.
Resistance at the field coil should be 2.12 ~ 2.88 Ohms. Use a feeler gauge to measure the air gap during adjustment.
The gap should be 0.012" ~ 0.024". Do not over tighten the nuts as this may force the rotor and
armature into contact.
The Pro-Turn 300-500 EFI Zero-Turns use an adaptor harness that connects the Kawasaki EFI engine harness
to the Zero-Turn‘s wire harness. It consists of a 16-pin plug connected to the Kawasaki
Engine, a 6-pin plug that connects to the Zero-Turn engine connector plug, an Oil Pressure
Light, MIL Light, and 3-pin throttle control.
Terms and Definitions
The Hour Meter (Part # 09497400) Will record hours when key is ON and operator is in seat.
(regardless if engine is running) The meter has two insulated terminals that plug into the two outside
terminals on the back and is located on the right control panel.
Note: Black and Blue wires must be on the two outside terminals
that facilitate ground and low voltage
circuit. Center terminal not used.
