PTO Drive Belt Download

Damaged or worn belts may result in injury and / or damage to the unit. Check belts for excessive wear or cracks often.

Belt Access
  1. Place unit in service position and remove rear access panel.
  2. Support unit with suitable jack stands so drive wheels are off the ground.
  3. Remove rear right wheel assembly. See Figure 33.
Remove PTO Belt

See Figure 34.

  1. Insert 3/8" drive breaker bar into square hole in PTO idler arm.
  2. Leverage breaker bar to release tension from PTO belt.
  3. From the rear and side access windows, remove PTO belt from gearbox pulley and clutch pulley.
Install PTO Belt

See Figure 34.

  1. Install PTO belt around gearbox pulley and clutch pulley (ensure back side of belt contacts idler pulley). Use breaker bar to apply leverage to PTO idler arm.

    IMPORTANT: Ensure that belt has tension and is aligned in all pulleys.
  2. Reinstall rear right wheel assembly.
  3. Remove unit from jack stands.
  4. Reinstall rear access panel.
