Wheel Removal / Install
Step 1
- To remove any wheel from the Mammoth 850, first place a floor jack underneath the frame in the middle of the
front or rear side of the unit. If removing a rear wheel, ensure that the floor jack is not positioned
underneath the gear box.
Step 2
- Use a 13/16" socket wrench to remove the five lug nuts from the wheel. Then remove the wheel.
Please note: whenever servicing the Mammoth 850, it is best to remove both front
or both rear tires and support the Mammoth 850 with jack stands by cradling the wheel motors.
Step 3
- When installing the wheel back onto the Mammoth 850, use the floor jack to raise the unit enough
to remove the jack stands. Position the same or new wheel back onto the wheel motor’s brake hub
and install the five lug nuts.
Step 4
- Use the floor jack to return the Mammoth 850 to the ground and torque the lug nuts following a star pattern to 60 – 90 ft.-lbs.
