Brake Adjustment
Steps 1 - 5
- Place the unit in service position.
- Set both Transaxle Bypass Levers in the rear position.
- Push unit forward.
- If unit does not move forward, no further action is needed.
- If unit easily moves forward, adjust the Brake Cable.
- If the Brake Arm doesn't engage loosen Jam Nut towards rear of Cable Mount.
- Tighten Adjustment Nut toward front of Cable Mount until the Brake Arm engages.
Steps 6 - 9
- Tighten Jam Nut A.
- If the control arm doesn't cam over fully, cable has been tightened too far, loosen Jam Nut B.
- Loosen Jam Nut A until correct setting is achieved.
- Tighten Jam Nut B.
Steps 10 - 11
- Visually confirm that the Brake Arm is fully engaging the Cog Brake Disk.
- Perform brake check as described earlier or in the operator's manual.
